Juliana M. F. Haughton

Juliana is a portrait artist, illustrator, and registered architect based in Bristol, Rhode Island. As an artist and illustrator, Juliana works with pencil and ink, creating a range of artwork, including expressive pencil portraits of people and pets, detailed black and white line drawings of houses, intricately patterned coloring pages, and illustrated paper goods for all occasions.

Juliana provides a range of architectural services, including documentation, drafting, design, and two-dimensional rendering. She specializes in residential design.

Juliana's interest in residential construction started when she was a very young child, "helping" her grandfather build a house for his daughter. A few years later, her grandfather gave Juliana her first set of blueprints, and her passion for architecture was born. After many years of designing the treehouse she hopes to live in one day, Juliana came to Rhode Island to study architecture at Roger Williams University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture in 2012.

Juliana now works as an architectural consultant. Her previous experience includes working as a project manager at a high-end residential architecture firm in Barrington, RI, working as the lead designer at a construction and design company in Middletown, RI, drafting for a residential architect in Middletown, RI, and interning at a small design-build firm in Arnold, MD, and an international architecture firm in Shanghai, China.
